NASA Commentator George Diller: This is Delta Launch Control at T-51 minutes and holding. We have had a decision by Boeing Mission Director Rich Murphy and NASA Launch Manager Omar Baez that we will scrub for today. There's not enough time to complete the work necessary at the pump house to resolve the electrical problems and still meet our launch window. This is currently planned to be a 24-hour scrub. Our launch time remains the same on Saturday morning, 3:22:01 a.m. for ten minutes. Once again, we have scrubbed for today due to insufficient time to deal with an electrical problem at the launch pad associated with the water deluge system pumps and the electrical system feeding the pump house. The launch vehicle, up to this point, had gone through a countdown without any problems, issues or concerns. And the weather forecast was go for tonight. It's also go for Saturday. So there is not anything else to be dealt with except this one issue out at the pad, basically, ground support equipment necessary for flooding the launch pad with water once the Delta II launch vehicle ignites and lifts off, part of cooling and sound suppression. Our launch coverage will resume tomorrow, Saturday morning at 1:00 a.m. Pacific time, again, targeting 3:22 a.m. liftoff on Saturday, May the 14th. This will conclude our coverage for tonight's launch attempt. This is Delta Launch Control.
