Scott and Doi stand on the MPESS in the payload bay waiting to catch Spartan

STS087-320-025 (19 November – 5 December 1997) --- Astronauts Winston E. Scott (left) and Takao Doi (partially obscured by his location in the dark shadows), await the right opportunity to grab onto the Spartan satellite. Later, when the Space Shuttle Columbia had moved closer to Spartan, the two mission specialists were able to successfully grab the satellite manually and berth it in Columbia's cargo bay. Scott was making his second space flight and his second extravehicular activity (EVA).
