STS-79 preparation views
S96-11816 (1 June 1996) --- The space shuttle Atlantis completes the final Earth-bound leg of its journey into space, arriving at the top of the hardstand at Launch Pad 39A. Atlantis is slated for liftoff later this year on the STS-79 mission, the fourth United States Space Shuttle and Russian Mir Space Station docking flight.
