Earth Observation taken by STS-79 crew
STS79-E-5164 (20 September 1996) --- As the Space Shuttle Atlantis and Russia's Mir Space Station orbited Earth together, the STS-79 crew recorded and downlinked this panorama of the Pacific Coast of the United States of America, during Flight Day 5. Most prominent features are the San Francisco bay area and the Salton Sea.
