Slayton, assistant director for Flight Crew Operations, Manned Spacecraft Center. Shown (left to right) are astronauts John W. Young, pilot; Slayton; Virgil I. Grissom, command pilot; and Ken Nagler, U.S. Weather Bureau. The group got together at the GT-3 mission review meeting on March 20, 1965, in the Manned Spacecraft Operations Building on Merritt Island, Florida. Items covered at the review included mission description, spacecraft, launch vehicle, experiments, world-wide tracking network, recovery and weather.
