S122-E-007069 (9 Feb. 2008) --- An auto-set digital camera records a rare but not unique moment on the International Space Station as a total of ten travelers share a few light moments before joining forces for several days of work aboard the orbital outpost. On the left side of the frame, from top to bottom, are astronauts Daniel Tani, Stanley Love and the European Space Agency's Leopold Eyharts. In the center, from the top, are astronauts Leland Melvin, Rex Walheim, Steve Frick, Peggy Whitson and Alan Poindexter. Cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko of Russia's Federal Space Agency is top right and below him is ESA astronaut Hans Schlegel. Tani, who has been serving as a flight engineer on the ISS for several months, now gets to trade places with Eyharts. Whitson and Malenchenko both will continue their tours of duty on the station once the STS-122 crew returns to Earth.
