
STS004-41-1206 (27 June-4July 1982) --- Sunglint reflects off the water of the North Atlantic Ocean in an area to the east of the Bahamas Islands sometimes called the Sargasso Sea. The area has also been referred to as the ?Bermuda Triangle.? Astronauts Thomas K. Mattingly II, STS-4 commander, and Henry W. Hartsfield Jr., pilot, spent seven days and one hour aboard the Earth-orbiting space shuttle Columbia and performed a variety of duties in addition to those of recording 70mm and 35mm imagery.
