MISSION CONTROL: And Discovery Houston, we can offer you a 'go' for the deorbit burn and you will be 'go' to maneuver on time and I can give you the latest weather. EILEEN COLLINS: Discovery copies 'go' for the deorbit burn, 'go' to maneuver and time and go ahead. MISSION CONTROL: OK, the observation at Edwards right now is clear, that's the winds are shifting slightly to the southwest they're 200 at 9 and the forecast for the winds are two zero zero at 8 peak 12. I'll break that down for you, that's a headwind of 7 peak 11, and a crosswind from the left of 3 peak 5. Comments from Bloomer and the STA are that it's a very smooth approach. One last system's note that I have for you, we've been watching indications of a bite on MFD-CDR 2 on the secondary port only, and at this time we're pretty sure that that secondary port will be down and unusable if you were to need it. How copy? COLLINS: OK we copy the weather at Edwards sounds really good and Bloomer's comments and MFD-CDR 2 copy the bite on the secondary port. MISSION CONTROL:Good copy.
