Six people make up the White Room Closeout Crew that are assisting the astronauts. This is Mission Specialist 5, Charlie Camarda. He will sit in seat 7, that's the mid-deck flight seat. We're being joined now in here firing room 3 by Astronaut Alan Poindexter. He's currently serving the Astronaut Office Shuttle Operations branch and performing duties as a lead support Astronaut at Kennedy Space Center and he's assigned to STS-120. Alan, welcome. Good morning George. Glad to be here. All the crew is making progress in their, in their boarding and how would you sort of sum up what the Astronauts are doing right now as they have gotten in or getting prepared to launch and what will they be doing that's coming up? They're going through all of their personal equipment checks and they're getting strapped in and getting their parachute hooked up and then they'll start a series of communication checks and I believe we heard some of the crew members already checked in with those.
