The six STS-121 crew members, led by Commander Steve Lindsey, exit the Crew Transport Vehicle and are greeted by NASA Administrator Michael Griffin and several senior managers. The astronauts are taking part in a traditional post-landing inspection following Discovery's smooth landing at Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility at 9:14 a.m. EDT. During the 13-day mission, the STS-121 crew tested new equipment and procedures to improve shuttle safety, and delivered supplies and made repairs to the International Space Station.
