Shortly after the Artemis II crew completed their mission around the Moon and splashed down in the Pacific Ocean, mission leadership held a news conference to answer questions from the media on Friday, April 10, 2026 at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen splashed down at 5:07 p.m. PDT Friday off the coast of San Diego, completing a nearly 10-day journey that took them 252,756 miles from home at their farthest distance from Earth.
