NASA Astronaut Candidate Cameron Jones discusses his hometown, what inspired him to become an astronaut candidate, what it was like to get the acceptance call, and what he most looks forward to about his training. Jones was selected by NASA to become an astronaut candidate in 2025 and will go on to complete nearly two years of training before he can graduate as a flight-eligible astronaut. He reported for duty in September.
