Preflight Imagery for the Nanoracks Astrobeat Experiment

Cold welding is a method in which metallic materials fuse or weld at ambient temperature provided that there is sufficient high contact force. This technology has applications for repairing spacecraft hulls that may be perforated as a result of micrometeoroids.
