Axiom Mission 2 crew members Peggy Whitson, John Shoffner, Ali Alqarni, and Ryyanah Barnawi docked to the space-facing, or zenith, port of the Harmony module of the International Space Station May 22 following a launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida the day prior. Following docking, the crew opened the hatch of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and floated aboard the International Space Station where they were greeted by members of the Expedition 69 crew. The four Axiom Space crew members will conduct a mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory as part of the second private astronaut mission to the International Space Station.
