The Promoted Combustion Testing capability at White Sands Test Facility is used to evaluate propagation and self-extinguishment. WSTF has a promoted combustion test system to perform testing at variable oxygen concentrations, variable pressure, and the capability to test metals at elevated temperature conditions.
