NASA’s SpaceX Crew-3 astronauts docked autonomously to the forward port of the International Space Station’s Harmony module at 6:32 p.m. EST Thursday, November 11. NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn, and Kayla Barron, along with ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Matthias Maurer, arrived after a one-day journey to begin a six-month science mission on the space station. Following docking Chari, Marshburn, Barron, and Maurer joined the Expedition 66 crew of Mark Vande Hei of NASA, as well as Roscosmos cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov. The crew was welcomed aboard during a ceremony with Kathy Lueders, associate administrator, space operations, NASA; and ESA Director General Dr. Josef Aschbacher.
