NASA’s SpaceX Dragon Crew-1 Crew Post-Landing News Conference NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 astronauts answer questions about their historic mission on the International Space Station and return to Earth. NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker, along with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi, participated in a virtual crew news conference from NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Following a six-month mission on the International Space Station, the crew completed reentry through Earth’s atmosphere and a parachute-assisted splashdown at 2:56 a.m. May 2 in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Panama City, Florida. The astronauts immediately flew back to Houston, where they were greeted by their families and colleagues.
