NASA SpaceX Crew Dragon Crew-2 astronauts depart Ellington Field for their Launch Site NASA SpaceX Crew Dragon Crew-2 astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur of NASA, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Akihiko Hoshide and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Thomas Pesquet, depart Ellington Field near NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, for their launch site. All four are scheduled to launch on a Falcon 9 rocket at 6:11 a.m. EDT Thursday, April 22, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The quartet will serve as flight engineers for a six-month science mission on the International Space Station.
