The Maltese Biocube, based on ICE Cubes platform by Space Applications Services, that will take samples to the International Space Station in a historic first for the country. The investigation studies Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 and Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU) using genetics and space biosciences is new and innovative research.
