NASA, CANADIAN ASTRONAUT CANDIDATES GRADUATE WITH ARTEMIS MOON MISSIONS IN SIGHT The 2017 class of astronaut candidates were pinned during the first agency’s first public graduation at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston Friday, Jan. 10. After completing more than two years of basic training, 11 NASA astronauts and 2 Canadian Space Agency astronauts who trained together, they are now eligible for spaceflight assignments. These astronauts may be assigned missions to the International Space Station, Artemis missions to the Moon, and ultimately, missions to Mars.
