Expedition 23 preflight
The Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft and its booster rocket are hauled to the launch pad through the barren Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan March 31, 2010 for launch April 2 to transport Expedition 23 crewmates Alexander Skvortsov, Mikhail Kornienko and Tracy Caldwell Dyson to the International Space Station.
