Aboard the International Space Station, NASA astronaut Mike Fincke handed over command of the space station to Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov during a change of command ceremony Jan. 12. Fincke is wrapping up his long-duration mission aboard the space station ahead of undocking from the space station targeted for Jan. 14 with a splashdown off the coast of California on Jan. 15.
