iss074e0150190 (Jan. 20, 2026) --- NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida is pictured from the International Space Station as it orbited 258 miles above the Sunshine State. NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft can be seen on Launch Pad 39B (right center) with Launch Pad 39A just beneath it along the Atlantic coast. Artemis II will be the first crewed mission on NASA’s path to establishing a long-term presence at the Moon for science and exploration. The 10-day flight will help confirm systems and hardware needed for early human lunar exploration missions.
