NASA astronaut Jonny Kim and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky opened up the hatch of the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft and floated aboard the International Space Station April 8. Earlier in the day, the trio launched atop a Soyuz 2.1a rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for a two-orbit rendezvous that culminated in a docking to the Prichal module of the International Space Station to begin their mission aboard the orbital outpost.
