NASA astronaut Jonny Kim and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky launched on the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft atop a Soyuz 2.1a rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on April 8. Following a two-orbit rendezvous, the trio docked to the Prichal module of the International Space Station beginning their mission aboard the orbital outpost.
