Aboard the International Space Station, Crew-8 which includes NASA astronauts Matt Dominick, Mike Barratt, and Jeanette Epps, as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin provided farewell remarks on October 10 ahead of their upcoming departure from the space station. Joining Crew-8 for the farewell remarks were NASA astronauts Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, Don Pettit, and Nick Hague as well as Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Vagner, and Aleksandr Gorbunov. Crew-8 is slated to undock on October 13 and splashdown off the coast of Florida October 14 after completing a seven month mission.
