iss072e757318 (March 5, 2025) --- Seoul, South Korea—home to approximately 10 million residents and split by the Han River—is pictured from the International Space Station at approximately 10:56 p.m. local time as it orbited 260 miles above the Korean Peninsula. One of the most densely populated cities in the world, Seoul is also home to four UNESCO World Heritage Sites that reflect the legacy of Korea’s longest continuous dynasty, the Joseon Dynasty. These include a Confucian shrine, royal tombs, a palace complex, and a mountain fortress.
