iss070e024942 (Nov. 15, 2023) --- NASA astronaut and Expedition 70 Flight Engineer Jasmin Moghbeli processes liver stem cell samples inside the Kibo laboratory module's Life Science Glovebox aboard the International Space Station. Her research work is supporting the Space AGE (Space Aging Gravity Experiment) investigation that is exploring the age-related loss of regenerative capacity. Results may provide insights into the treatment of immune system conditions both on Earth and in space.
