NEW SPACE STATION MODULE LAUNCHES TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION The Russian “Prichal” Node Module and the attached Progress M-UM propulsion stage launched atop a Soyuz 2.1b booster from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on November 24. Prichal is slated to dock to the “Nauka” Multipurpose Laboratory (MLM) of the International Space Station November 26. The node module will serve as a multi-hatch docking port for future Russian visiting vehicles to the station.
