CHANGE OF COMMAND OF INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION TAKES PLACE Aboard the International Space Station, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Thomas Pesquet handed over command of the International Space Station to Roscosmos cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov during a change of command ceremony November 6. Pesquet and Shkaplerov are in the midst of long duration missions living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration missions.
