PROGRESS 79 CARGO CRAFT LAUNCHES TO SPACE STATION The uncrewed Russian ISS Progress 79 cargo craft launched to the International Space Station from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakstahn on October 27, U.S. time atop a Soyuz booster rocket. The new Progress is filled with almost three tons of supplies and cargo and is scheduled to dock to the aft port of the Zvezda service module on October 29, where it will reside until next spring.
