ASTRONAUTS DISCUSS LIFE ABOARD THE SPACE STATION WITH AL JAZEERA Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 65 Commander Thomas Pesquet of ESA (European Space Agency) and Flight Engineer Aki Hoshide of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) discussed living and working in space during an in-flight interview October 12 with Al Jazeera. Pesquet and Hoshide launched in April on the SpaceX Crew Dragon “Endeavour” for a planned six-month science mission aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration.
