SPACE STATION CREW DISCUSSES THE ENVIRONMENT ON EARTH DAY Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 65 Commander Shannon Walker and Flight Engineers Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover and Mark Vande Hei of NASA and Flight Engineer Soichi Noguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) discussed life, research and their thoughts on the view of Earth from orbit during an in-flight event April 22 to mark the celebration of Earth Day. The event was highlighted by the appearance of Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes and featured questions submitted by the public for the crew members.
