iss061e111467 (12/31/2019) --- A view of a fabric sample from the Confined Combustion investigation abord the International space Station (ISS). Confined Combustion examines the behavior of a flame as it spreads in differently-shaped confined spaces in microgravity. Flame spread observations are translated into mathematical models for use in understanding the results and applying them to areas with different shapes.
