SPACE STATION CREW MEMBER DISCUSSES LIFE IN SPACE WITH ITALIAN SPACE FORUM Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 60 Flight Engineer Luca Parmitano of ESA (European Space Agency) discussed life and research on the orbital outpost during an in-flight event Sept. 6 with attendees at a science forum in Cernobbio, Italy. Parmitano is in the midst of a long duration mission on the station, and will become station commander on Oct. 2 following a change of command ceremony with current station commander Alexey Ovchinin of Roscosmos.
