SPACE STATION ASTRONAUT DISCUSSES LIFE IN SPACE WITH THE ARMY AND HOMETOWN MEDIA Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 59 Flight Engineer Anne McClain of NASA, an Army lieutenant colonel and a native of Spokane, Washington, discussed the progress of her flight in a series of in-flight interviews April 24 with the Army News Service, KCTS-TV, Seattle and KUOW Radio, Seattle. McClain is in the fifth month of her first spaceflight, a planned six-and-a-half-month mission on the orbital outpost. She discussed living and conducting science aboard the unique microgravity laboratory.
