SPACE STATION CREW MEMBERS DISCUSS FIRST TWO SPACEWALKS OF EXPEDITION 59 Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 59 Flight Engineers Nick Hague, Christina Koch and Anne McClain of NASA discussed the first two spacewalks of their mission on the outpost during a series of in-flight interviews April 1 with NBC’s “Today Show”, CBS “This Morning” and ABC’s “Good Morning America.” The spacewalks replaced aging nickel hydrogen batteries with new, more powerful lithium ion batteries to upgrade two of the station’s eight power channels. Hague participated in two spacewalks, and McClain and Koch each completed one spacewalk.
