ISS040-E-091153 (10 Aug. 2014) --- One of the Expedition 40 crew members aboard the International Space Station, flying at an altitude of 225 nautical miles, exposed this image of the south end of New Zealand's North Island on Aug. 10, 2014. Lake Wellington is just to the right of center frame. The north end of South Island is out of frame on the right side of Cook Strait at far right.
