ISS040-E-021589 (26 June 2014) --- One of the Expedition 40 crew members aboard the International Space Station used a 70mm lens on a digital still camera to capture this photograph of an area in northern California from 227 miles above Earth on June 26, 2014. San Francisco Bay is largely out of frame at right but parts of Oakland and San Francisco are visible.
