Padalka (background), Expedition 9 commander representing Russia’s Federal Space Agency, works at the Simvol-Ts workstation in the Zvezda Service Module of the International Space Station (ISS) during the docking approach of the Progress 14 spacecraft. Astronaut Edward M. (Mike) Fincke, NASA ISS science officer and flight engineer, assisted Padalka.
