
S82-37810 (21 Sept. 1982) --- The space shuttle Columbia makes its slow 3 ? mile trip on a crawler transporter from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The trip began at 5:34 a.m. (EDT) today and ended at the pad seven hours later.
