JFK Memorial, Runnymede Meadow, England
A short drive from Windsor, England, west of London, near the Thames, lies Runnymede meadow. Following John Kennedy's 1963 assassination, the British government commemorated his life by gifting 1.6 ha to the US federal government, making it the only piece of American soil in Britain.
