
Mount Mabu in northern Mozambique is famous for its old-growth rain forest. The 75 square kilometers forest and its extremely diverse wildlife were unknown to scientists until 2005. One scientist believes he has discovered 15 new species of dung beetles. At least 25 additional new species of animals have also been found.
