Yukon Delta, Alaska
The Yukon River Delta (along with the Kuskokwim River) is one of the largest in the world. Emptying into the Bering Sea on the west coast of Alaska, it is over 130,000 square kilometers in size. The combined delta has about 25,000 Alaska Native residents.
