NASA's Moderate Resolution Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MODIS) instrument, aboard the Terra satellite, captured this true-color image showing the remnants of a meteor's passage, seen as a dark shadow cast on thick, white clouds on Dec. 18, 2018.
