ASTER Global Mosaic
The ASTER instrument has been acquiring images since 2000. Currently the archive contains over 3.7 million images, including day and night thermal infrared data, and stereo pairs of the entire land surface of the Earth. This mosaic was created from thumbnail browse images, using bands 3, 2 and 1 displayed in red, green, and blue, respectively.
