Beruri Crater Ejecta - False Color
The THEMIS camera contains 5 filters. The data from different filters can be combined in multiple ways to create a false color image. This image from NASA 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft shows the outer rim of Beruri Crater. This image is of the ejecta along the eastern rim of the crater. The color variations show the radial nature of the ejecta emplacement.
