
NASA's Dawn spacecraft obtained this view of Laukumate Crater (19 miles, 30 kilometers wide) on Ceres on June 2, 2016. Laukumate is named for a Latvian goddess of agriculture. Dawn took this image from its low-altitude mapping orbit, at a distance of about 240 miles (385 kilometers) above the surface.
