Today's VIS image from NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey is of an unnamed crater in Chryse Planitia. There are several concentric ridges visible on the right side of this image. These features formed at the time of impact and are part of the rim structure of this crater. Numerous gullies dissect the rim and a small dune field is located on the floor of the crater.
