Blocky Rock is Exam Target for Mars Rover Opportunity

The flat-faced rock near the center of this image is a target for contact investigation by NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity in early March 2015. The view is from the rover's front hazard avoidance camera on March 3, 2015, during the 3,948th Martian day, or sol, of Opportunity's work on Mars. This camera is mounted low on the rover and has a wide-angle lens. The scene includes a shadow of the tool turret at the end of Opportunity's robotic arm.
